Windows 10 / 11 · PC edition

Network engineering and diagnostics, built for the desktop.

39 tools for network engineers, IT administrators, and CCNA/CCNP-track learners. Every tool runs locally against real devices, real packets, and real protocol data — no telemetry, no account, no cloud backend.

v1.2.0 Release Candidate, unsigned installer — see Signing status for details.

// How VajraX Handles Your Network

No network call
you didn't ask for.

That's a real, verified rule this app is built to, not a slogan: VajraX never originates network traffic on its own — every connection it makes happens because you just clicked something that needs one. Nothing polls in the background, nothing phones home, nothing checks in on a schedule.

23
Work fully offline
No network code at all, under any circumstance — local computation, bundled reference data, or local hardware only.
12
Need a network to do their job
Reaching a device, a domain, or the internet is the whole point of these tools — there's nothing to show without it.
4
Offline by default, live by choice
Fully usable with no network at all; one explicit action you choose to take opts into a live connection.

Verified tool by tool against this build's real source, not estimated. For exactly which of the 39 tools falls into which group and why, see the full feature list in the release README.

// Features

Built around a real workflow.

🔌
39 Professional Tools

Network diagnostics, remote access, config analysis, network design, protocol reference, and security — all free, no paywalls, no accounts.

🖥
Device Workflow Core

Inventory → connect → analyze → compare. Device Inventory, Multi-Device SSH Runner, Config Vault, and Config Drift Check share the same real device pipeline.

🛡
Defensive, Not Offensive

Diagnostics, inventory, configuration review, and reference material — no exploitation or attack tooling of any kind.

🔑
SSH Host-Key Verification

TOFU (trust-on-first-use) host-key checking on every SSH connection, with a persisted known-hosts store.

🔒
Encrypted Config Vault

AES-256-GCM encrypted local storage for saved credentials and config version history, shared across the device-workflow tools.

📡
Real Protocol Data

SSH, SNMP, DNS, WHOIS, and raw TLS handshakes — every "live" tool talks the real protocol, not a simulated approximation.

// Offline First

Works without a connection.
Reaches out when you say so.

23 of 39 tools are 100% offline — no cloud, no API keys. The remaining 16 either require network access for their core function, or offer it as one explicit, opt-in mode inside an otherwise offline tool.

  • ⚡
    Instant — zero network calls
    Config Analyzer, Config Diff Pro, RFC Browser, CVE Explorer Pro, and 10 more — all local, all instant.
  • ✈
    No unrequested egress
    Every network-using tool acts only when you explicitly run it. Nothing polls in the background.
  • 💾
    ~150 MB free disk space needed
    Bundled RFC dataset, CVE dataset, port reference, and vendor command reference — all inside the install.

# No internet required. All local.
// Signing Status & Privacy

Unsigned, and honest about it.

No account. No ads. The app runs zero analytics — no exceptions.

⚠ This release is not code-signed

When you run the installer, Windows SmartScreen will most likely show "Windows protected your PC" with an Unknown publisher warning. This is expected, standard behavior for any installer from a publisher that hasn't purchased a code-signing certificate — it is not a sign of a problem with this specific file.

If you want to proceed: click More info, then Run anyway.

Because there's no publisher signature to vouch for the file yet, verify the SHA-256 checksum first — that's the actual guarantee that what you downloaded matches what was built and published. The checksum ships alongside the installer as VajraX_Windows_1.2.0.msi.sha256 in the same GitHub release; compare it with Get-FileHash VajraX_Windows_1.2.0.msi -Algorithm SHA256 in PowerShell.

// FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Is VajraX PC (Windows) really free?
Yes. All 39 tools are completely free — no paywalls, no premium tiers, no hidden costs.
Is the installer signed?
Not yet. v1.2.0 is an unsigned Release Candidate. Windows SmartScreen will show an "Unknown publisher" warning — verify the published SHA-256 checksum before running it, and see the Signing status section above for what that warning does and doesn't mean.
Does it work without internet?
23 of 39 tools work 100% offline. 12 require network access because that's their entire function (SSH, DNS, WHOIS, scanning, and similar). 4 more work offline for their base function and only reach the network on an explicit action you trigger yourself — see the full network-usage breakdown above.
Is this the same app as the Android version?
No. VajraX PC (Windows) is a separate, independently built application — it does not share a codebase, build, or release line with VajraX for Android. Tool counts, versions, and feature sets differ between the two.
Do I need an account?
No. Zero signup, zero login, zero personal data, telemetry, or analytics collected by the app.
Is this offensive security / pentesting software?
No. This is defensive network engineering software — inventory, diagnostics, configuration review, and reference material. It contains no exploitation or attack tooling of any kind.
What are the system requirements?
Windows 10 (1809 or later) or Windows 11, 64-bit, 6–8 GB RAM, and about 150 MB of free disk space.
Is the source code available?
No. This is proprietary, closed-source software. The release repository distributes compiled binaries only. For security audit inquiries, contact pbr65.tech@gmail.com.
